Williamsport - Ada Faith (Farrar) James, 84, Williamsport, passed away in the Williamsport Health & Rehabilitation Center on Monday, September 5, 2022 at 3:30 a.m.
Ada was born in Boswell, Indiana on January 28, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Ira Earl Farrar and Florence (Hunnicut) Farrar Coonse. Ada was raised in West Lebanon and attended West Lebanon High School. She later moved to Florida and when she moved back to Indiana she resided in Pine Village for several years.
Ada worked at several different jobs but was known for her owning and operating the King's Café and Sportsman Bar in Attica.
She leaves behind her five children, Anna Duke and her companion Michael Walters, Rockville, IN ; Shauna (Gary) Vodehnal, Searcy, AR; Evelyn (Ron)West, Heber Springs, AR; Ray Edwards, Clinton, AR and Chuck (Kay) Houck, Attica; 15 grandchildren, Yvette Bray,  Heath (Elizabeth) Bray, Crystal (Jessica) Bray, Jason (Laura) Roberson, Chris (Tara) Roberson, Kellie (Dustin) Werner, Julie (Ron) McLaughlin, Desi (Mark) Harmon, Tyler (Christy) Vodehnal, Stephanie Lindley, Jimmy Edwards, Samantha Edwards, Ashley (Chad) Ray, Joseph Houck and Melinda Houck (fiancé-Brett Powell); 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Haile, a great-grandson, Spencer Roberson; 8 brothers and 7 sisters.
As per Ada's request, cremation services were accorded her and a memorial gravesite service will be held at a late date in Independence Cemetery, Independence, Indiana.
