Attica - Amber Dawn (Sheridan) Sullivan, 48, Attica, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Attica on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 10:40 p.m.
Amber was born in Home Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana on July 13, 1972. She was the daughter of Michel "Mike" H. Sheridan of Homosassa, FL and Penela "Penny" K. (Pearl) Byers, of Attica. She was a life resident of Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1990. She went on and received an associates degree in accounting from Indiana Business College.
Amber formerly worked in the accounting department for Unity Health Care in Lafayette.
She was an active member of the Attica Free Methodist Church, where she volunteered her time on different projects of the church. She participated in Celebrate Recovery at the church. She also volunteered her time at Hope Springs in Attica. She enjoyed bowling and bowled on several leagues at Shawnee Lanes in Attica. She liked to play cards and toss corn hole in her pastime. She was proud of her two children and adored them.
On March 31, 2007, Amber married Troy Sullivan in Attica.
She leave behind her husband, Troy along with her two children, Lukas (Chaley Waters) Swift and Sadie Swift, both of Attica; her siblings, Rod Sheridan, New Haven, IN; Troy (Tammy) Sheridan, Brownsburg, IN and Shannon (Steve) Smyth, Attica; an uncle, Dr. Gary (Sandy) Pearl, Bloomington, IL; three aunts, Janet Sundt, Connersville, IN; Rita Terrell, Spartansburg, SC and Pamela Zellers, Houston, TX; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Tuesday, February 9th, from 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. A celebration of Amber's life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 10th, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica. All attendees at the gathering and service will be required to wear masks and keep social distancing from each other. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for expenses.
