Hutsonville, IL - Anthony Walter Bell, 68, formerly of Attica and had been residing in Hutsonville, IL, passed away unexpectedly in the Heritage Shelter Care Home in Hutsonville, IL on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
Anthony was born in Lafayette, Indiana on October 6, 1956.  He was the son of the late Walter B. and Betty Jean (McCaw) Bell.  Anthony was raised in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1975.  He joined the Navy on January 6, 1977 and at the time of his honorable discharge had attained the rank of Fireman.  Following his service, Anthony worked at ALCOA in Lafayette.
In his pastime, Anthony enjoyed making bead necklaces.
Anthony was formerly married to Melody Dawn Knowles.
Anthony leaves behind his son, Anthony Brandon Lee Bell of Terre Haute, IN; three grandchildren, Ethan Bell, Lauren Bell and Braydon Bell.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, September 24th, from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dan Jordan officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
