Veedersburg - Audrey June (Reed) Covault, 74, Veedersburg, passed away in The Springs of Lafayette, on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at 6:45 a.m.
Audrey was Born in Universal, Indiana on June 3, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd Darroll and Sarah Elizabeth (Wheeler) Reed. Audrey formerly lived in Mellott and for the past 15 years has resided in Veedersburg. She had worked as a cook for the Attica IGA.
Audrey enjoyed working crossword puzzles, scrap booking, collecting cookie jars and porcelain dolls.
Audrey first married Kenneth Kent in 1963 and they divorced. She later married Gerald Crowder and they too divorced. She married James Covault in Covington and he preceded her in death in 2005.
She leaves behind her two sons, Denny (Gala) Reed, Lafayette and Matthew Crowder, Veedersburg; a brother, John (Ruth Ann) Reed, Attica and a sister,  Lula Bradbury, Covington; five grandchildren, Nikki Anderson, Abigail (Shawn) Bullock, Chelsea Reed, Joseph Reed and Drake Crowder; six great-grandchildren, Kiersten Anderson, Zoey Anderson, Lillian Anderson, Dalton McNulty, Izak McNulty and Christopher Bullock. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Ron, Jury and James Reed.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Tuesday, December 29th, from 5:00 p.m. until the service time at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating. Following cremation, her cremated remains will be placed next to her husband in the Osborn Prairie Cemetery near Stone Bluff. All attendees at the service will be required to wear face masks and keep social distancing from the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family for expenses.
