Attica - Austin Allen Blankenship, 27, Attica, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 3:53 a.m.
Austin was born in Lafayette, Indiana on May 23, 1997.  He was the son of Heather Renea Ransom of Lafayette and the late Jason Kyle Blankenship. Austin was a life resident of Attica, graduating from Attica High School.  Austin formerly worked at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica.
Austin was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was very much a free spirit and was very upbeat, always with a smile.  He had no fear of anything and loved riding his dirt bikes.  He will be missed by his faithful companions, his dogs.
Austin leaves behind his mother, Heather Ransom of Lafayette; a daughter, Serenity Blankenship, Attica; a sister, Paisly Green, Attica and a brother, Nate Green, Lafayette; his grandparents, Brenda & Kevin Campbell, Attica and Mark & Diane Ransom, Attica; his aunts, Jill Hall and Joy Blankenship, both of Attica; several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Tuesday, October 29th, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 30th, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Maus Funeral Home to help defray his funeral expenses.
