Pine Village - Barbara Ann (Burks) Speck, 86, Pine Village, passed away in the Franciscan Health East Hospital, Lafayette, on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 5:55 a.m.
Barbara was born in Glasgow, KY on April 13, 1937.  She was the daughter of the late John Bruce and Alta (Jones) Burks.  She was raised in Freeland Park and graduated from Oxford High School in 1955.
Barbara married Tedd S. Speck on April 12, 1957 in Fowler.  Together they farmed for many years in the Pine Village area.  Barbara leaves behind her husband, Tedd of 67 years.  She also leaves behind a daughter, Sondra (Greg) Klinker, Pine Village.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Lou Jean Rasher and two brothers, Eulan Clifton "Cliff" Burks and Charles Berry Burks.
A private family gravesite service will be held in the Pine Village Cemetery, Pine Village, IN.
