Attica - Barbara Jane (Boggs) Wilson, 84, Attica, passed away in the Williamsport Health & Rehabilitation Center, on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 7:15 p.m.
Barbara was born in Hazard, Kentucky on July 31, 1938. She was raised in Kentucky, moving to Indiana in 1959. She later moved to Attica in the early 1960's.
Barbara formerly drove the Head Start Bus and later worked as a cook for the Edgewood Nursing Home in Oxford.
Barbara was a simple person who loved her family and enjoyed the time spent with them, especially the grandchildren.
On February 21, 1959, Barbara married Carol Denton Wilson in Indianapolis. Carol preceded her in death on October 20, 1981.
Barbara leaves behind three sons, Ronald (the late Brenda) Wilson, Attica; Brian Wilson, Attica, Mitch (companion-Julie Smith) Wilson, Attica; a daughter-in-law, Charlotte Wilson, Attica. She was preceded by her son, Dewayne Wilson. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Ashley Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Shelby Petro and Rex Wilson; four great-grandchildren, William "Scoot", Landon, Taylie and Gracie.
A gravesite service will be held in the Highland Cemetery, Williamsport, on Monday, January 9th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Daniel Jordan officiating.
