Williamsport - Betty Jean (Mullen) Blum, 68, Williamsport, passed away in the Williamsport Health & Rehabilitation Center on Monday, December 15,2025 at 1:22 p.m.
Jean, as she was known to family and friends, was born in Lafayette, Indiana on April 9, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Otis Mullen and Barbara Lou (Foust) Garing.  Jean grew up in Battle Ground and Crawfordsville, Indiana.  She attended Harrison High School.
She later moved to North Fort Myers, FL where she worked in shipping and receiving for the Saftronics Company for 20 years.  She then moved to Attica in 2010, residing there until moving back to Florida in 2018 where she cared for her mother.  In 2022 she moved to Attica where she lived until moving to Williamsport.
Jean was a member of the Moose Lodge # 1482 of Attica; V.F.W. Post # 3318 of Attica; Eagles Lodge # 2596 of Attica.  While living in North Fort Myers, she belonged to the Ladies Fishing Club.  She was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.
Jean leaves behind four children, Kasey (Mark) Fuller, Lafayette; Lisa (Kyle) Askren, Attica; Melinda (Scott) Walker, Williamsport and Dusty (Dawn) Sheets, West Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren with a great-grandchild on the way; a sister, Sally (John) Webber, Fort Myers, FL. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Mullen and her twin sister, Jane McClain.
A private family service will be held in the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Friday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating. Burial will follow in the Bower Cemetery, near Colfax, IN.
