Attica - Betty Lou (Osborne) Pearl, 96, Attica, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, in the Creasy Springs Health Campus, Lafayette, IN.
She was born, at home in Attica, IN, on January 25, 1929, to the late George Edward and Oveta Pearl (Jenkins) Osborne. She was a proud graduate of Attica High School in Attica, Indiana, Class of 1947.
On April 16, 1948, she married the love of her life, Frank "Tub" Pearl Jr., and together built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Spending 76 years together before his passing on April 27, 2024.
Betty began her career at Crosley's Drug Store in Attica, Indiana, and later dedicated 37 years of service at Public Service of Indiana (now Duke Energy), retiring in January 1990 at which time she served as the Office Manager.
Betty and Tub shared a love for dancing and spent many Thursday afternoons at the Eagles Lodge in Lafayette, Indiana, and wherever there was a good band and great music.
Betty was known for her love of a fine pair of shoes and her family would fondly say, "Betty Lou has got a new pair of shoes!" — a reminder of her fun-loving spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Marvin Osborne and Fred Osborne; and her sisters, Opal Osborne, Delores Osborne, Hazel Chamberlain, and Donna Harris, all of Attica, Indiana. Surviving are several nieces and nephews and their families.
Betty will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A special thank you goes out to the staff at Creasy Springs for the love and care they gave Betty during her stay.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Thursday, December 11th from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Tub in the Salem Cemetery, east of Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
