Stone Bluff - Billie E. Million, 77, Stone Bluff, passed away in the Franciscan Health East Hospital, Lafayette, on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:25 a.m.
Billie was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on August 28, 1944. He was the son of the late Henry Richard and Mildred Pearl (Worthington) Million. Billie was raised in Tennessee and at an early age moved to Indiana. He eventually settled in Stone Bluff and has lived there most of his adult life.
Billie formerly owned and operated Billie Million Concrete Construction Company for several years until his retirement.
When Billie wasn't working he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He enjoyed his family and the time spent with them.
On April 21, 1962, Billie married Willa Jean Karlson in the Stone Bluff United Methodist Church. Jean preceded him in death on January 27, 2004.
Billie leaves behind a son, Kevin E. Million and a daughter, Laura L. Buchanan of Lafayette; a brother, John (Renee) Million, Gray, GA; two sisters, Judy (Alvin) Denny, West Point and Kathie (Harry) Doster, Eatonton, GA; seven grandchildren, Rhonda Million, Billie Million, Amanda Million, Ethan (Brittany) Buchanan, Clayton (Shelby) Buchanan, Christian Buchanan and Chealsie Beedle; seventeen great-grandchildren, Devin, Skyler, Sophie, Drayton, Dakota, Shyanne, Lily, Rosie, Emmi, Willow, Molly, Pearl, Boyd, Reagan, Rylan, Renleigh and Zaylynn. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, George, Tom and Connie Million along with two sisters, Helen Strong and Bobby Harper.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, February 2nd from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 3rd at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Daneen Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
