Independence - Bobbi Jean Greer, 47, of rural Independence, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 10:14 p.m.
Bobbi was born in Lafayette, Indiana on September 25, 1972. She was the daughter of the late Carl "Rosie" Monroe and Linda Lou (Mitton) Greer. Bobbi was raised in Attica and attended Attica High School. She has resided in rural Independence for the past twelve years.
Bobbi was a homemaker and enjoyed her time spoiling her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crafting.
On December 28, 2007, Bobbi married William J. Christenberry in Attica. William preceded her in death on September 8, 2019.
Bobbi leaves behind four children, Amanda (Talmadge) Jackson, David (Courtney) Greer, Keisha (companion - Nick Martin) Christenberry and Emily(companion - Zac Benefiel) Christenberry, all of Attica; two sisters, Kristy (Mike) Grogan and Karla (Kevin) Tippy, both of Attica; two brothers, Mike Greer and Ricky Greer, both of Attica; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Jack, Laedence, Ethan, Tanner, Harper, Bradyn and Lilly.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Monday, August 17th, from 5:00 p.m. until the service time at 7:00 p.m. with Aaron Dobbels officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
