Attica - Bobby Lee Wood, 53, Attica, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 2:05 p.m.
Bobby was born in Danville, Illinois on June 30, 1966. He is the son of Linda S. (Karlson) Bennett of Attica and the late Rancel Terrell Wood. Bobby was raised in Veedersburg and attended Fountain Central High School. He later worked with Trinity Mission located in Terre Haute, IN. He traveled throughout the Midwest with Trinity Mission and lived in Tennessee, Arkansas and Oklahoma, before moving back to Attica as a result of his failing health.
Bobby leaves behind his mother and step father, Linda and Roger Bennett, Attica; two sisters, Barbara (companion-Robin Larson) Wood, Williamsport; Tina Scott, Crawfordsville; six nephews, Ryan Wood, Justin Walters, Anthony Wood, Joshua Groleau, Brandon Wood and Zachary Wood; five nieces, Ashley Gustus, Heather Ziegler, Kayla Ward, Chelsie Serenger and Tori Wood. He was preceded by his father, Rancel T. Wood and a brother, Rodney Wood.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Monday, March 9th, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Josh Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
