Attica - Carol Ann (Stout) Clinton, 48, Attica, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Attica on Monday, September 30, 2019.
Carol was born in Danville, Illinois on February 19, 1971. She was the daughter of the late Harold C. and Phyllis Ann (Brewer) Stout, Sr. She was raised in Covington, attending Covington High School. She has been a resident of the Attica community for the past 25 years.
Carol formerly worked at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica and more recently in the Deli Department of the County Market in Attica.
She enjoyed crafts and sewing. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to classic rock and country music. Most of all she enjoyed life and helping others.
She married Matthew T. Clinton on August 23, 2008 in Mellott.
She leaves behind her husband, Matthew of 11 years along with a daughter, Samantha (Stephen) French, Attica; two step children, Eric (Rhonda) Clinton, Veedersburg and Trinella (Kevin) Burris, Attica; five sisters, Brenda Hall, Battle Ground; Diana (Paul) Wigley, Attica; Pamela (Donald) Largent, Crawfordsville; Vickie Sandlin (companion-Gary Cantrell), Attica; Lorie Stout (companion-Aaron McKinney), Veedersburg; four grandchildren, Elijah French, Parker Slinker, Alexis Burris, D.J. Burris; 20 nieces and nephews; 49 great-nieces and great-nephews; 3 great great nieces and great great-nephews; many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents along with two brothers, Harold "Bugsy" Stout, Jr and James "Jim Bob" Stout; a nephew, Risty Stout.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Thursday, October 3rd from 5:00 p.m. until service time at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Shawn Carafa officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Attica High School Athletic Department.
