Williamsport - Carolyn Sue (Felix) Howard Holen, 77, of rural Williamsport, went to be with the Lord with her family by her side, in the Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 12:41 p.m., following a three month battle with cancer.
Carolyn was born in Attica, Indiana on October 10, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Loren and Mary Margaret (Tatlock) Felix. Carolyn was raised in Fountain and Warren Counties and has resided in rural Williamsport for the past 35 years.
Carolyn formerly owned and operated the County Seat Café in Williamsport and later became an independent relator owning Carolyn's Realty before retiring.
Carolyn was a member of the Ambia United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening and decorating her house at the holidays.
She was first married to Robert Howard and later married Harold Robert "Bob" Holen in the Williamsport United Methodist Church on December 30, 1991.
She leaves behind her husband, Bob of 29 years along with three daughters, Angela (Tim) Phillips, Lafayette; Candi Little, Attica and Mary (Clint) Fink, Linden; ; a step-son, Mike (Shannon) Holen, Williamsport; a step-daughter, Minde (Mike) Shinnick, Naples, FL; a sister, Nancy Felix, Williamsport; twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and a great great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert "Bobby" Howard and three brothers, John W. , Floyd E. "Bud" and James L. Felix.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, March 3rd from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Clint Fink and Noel Whiteman officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery, near Ambia. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Ambia United Methodist Church. As per the State mandates, masks and social distancing will be required.
