Attica - Carrie Ann (Haas) Ferguson, 76, Attica, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.
Carrie was born in Attica, Indiana on December 6, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Alva Louis and Mary Flossie (Slinker) Haas. Carrie was a life resident of Attica and attended Attica High School. She was a stay-at-home mom and homemaker.
Carrie was active in the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post 3318 Auxiliary serving as Conductress. She was a member of the American Legion Post # 52 Auxiliary and served as President for 20 years She enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
Carrie married Floyd Edward Ferguson on May 9, 1964 in Attica. Floyd preceded her in death on July 24, 2013.
Carrie leaves behind her four children, Carrie Lynn (Travis) Allen, Rainsville; Josie V. Ferguson, Attica; Eddie W. (Deb) Ferguson, Zalma, MO and Laurie A. Ferguson, Polk City, IA; three sisters, Mary Lou Hulsey, Attica; Maxine Warrick, Attica; Janice Ferguson, Attica; four brothers, Joe Haas, Elkhart; Raymond Haas, Elkhart; Clint (Donna) Haas, Elkhart; Alva (Cindy) Haas, Lafayette; eight grandchildren, Michael & Josh Pickett; Curtis Ferguson; Stephen Gregory; Kourtni (Brandon) Wallace & Kameron (Kenna) Freeman; Mariah Dick and Colton Ferguson; thirteen great-grandchildren. Carrie was preceded by her parents and two brothers, Frank and Everett Haas.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Tuesday, May 3rd from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Hunter Chadwell officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
