Lafayette - Cathy Ann (Reed) Baird Trahan, 63, formerly of Attica and had been residing in Lafayette, passed away in the Franciscan Health East Hospital, Lafayette, on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 1:05 a.m.
Cathy was born in Clinton, Indiana on December 17, 1959.  She was the daughter of the late Jury Baker Reed and Carolyn Ann (Hill) Reed Keeling.  She was raised in Mellott and educated in Attica and more recently moving to Lafayette.
Cathy worked as a secretary for R.R. Donnelly & Son in Crawfordsville, until her disability.
She enjoyed working with diamond art.  She liked working on the computer and playing board, card and video games.  She enjoyed the time spent watching tv.
Cathy was first married to Darryl Baird and later to James Trahan.
Cathy leaves behind her son, Michael (Misty) Baird, Attica; a grandson, Atrayue (Jordan) Baird, Attica; a great-granddaughter, Aiyanna Baird; four sisters, Debbie (Roy) Fleeman, Rossville, IN; Becky Sawyer, West Lafayette; Cindy (Phil) Hardwick, Lafayette and Karen (Kris) Weber, Ladoga, IN; a brother, Jury Baker Reed, Jr., Attica.
As per Cathy's request, cremation services were accorded her and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date
