West Lebanon - Charles W. Pitcock, 77, formerly of West Lebanon and had been residing in The Waters of Covington, passed away in The Waters of Covington, Monday, January 1, 2024 at 8:05 p.m.
Charles was born in Warren County, Indiana on August 26, 1946.  He was the son of the late Thomas Herod and Audrey (Hoover) Pitcock.  He was a life resident of the West Lebanon area, graduating from Seeger High School in 1966.  He was employed with Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica, working on the ovens until his retirement.
He served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War.
Charles was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church and enjoyed being a handyman on the side.
Charles was married to Suzanne Bestervelt in 1972. Suzanne preceded him in death on December 30, 2012.
Charles leaves behind three sons, William Pitcock, Indianapolis; Michael Pitcock, West Lebanon and Stephen Pitcock, Dalzell, SC; a sister, Mary Lou Easter, Dover, TN and a brother, John (Iva) Pitcock, Dinwiddie, VA; five grandchildren, Sarah Land, Austin Pitcock, Victoria Pitcock, Nicholas Pitcock and Shyanda Pitcock; two great-grandchildren, Trevor Jay Thomas and Sofia Marie Thomas.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Easter.
As per Charles request, cremation services were accorded him and no formal services are planned.
