Lafayette - Charles Caleb Randall Rhode, 39, Lafayette, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 3:28 a.m.
Caleb, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Danville, Illinois on February 2, 1984.  He was the son of Randall "Randy" C. Rhode and the late Theresa Eileen (Tribby) Rhode.  He was raised in Warren County, Indiana and graduated from Seeger High School in 2002.  He has resided in Lafayette for the past 10 years.
Caleb was presently working at SIA in Lafayette.
He enjoyed listening to his rock music and playing his guitar.
Caleb leaves behind his father, Randy Rhode of Battle Ground, IN; two sisters, Courtney (Lance) Wildoner, Battle Ground, IN and Kailey (Jordan) Poynter, Kokomo, IN; his girlfriend, Cindy Sanders, Lafayette; two nieces, Ava Wildoner and Huxley Mattern; three nephews, Elijah Wildoner, Jacob Wildoner and Dashiel Mattern; a cousin, Kier (John) Muller, Battle Ground, IN.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Rhode.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, January 17th, from 6:00 p.m. until the service time at 8:00 p.m. with family and friends sharing in the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Food Finders Food Bank.
