Veedersburg - Clara Louise (Pycke) Minnick, 90, Veedersburg, passed away in the Ascension St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 1:48 a.m. following a brief illness.
Clara was born in Fountain County, Indiana on March 25, 1933.  She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Edna (Armtrout) Pycke.  Clara grew up in Attica and attended Attica High School.  She has lived most of her adult life in Veedersburg.
Clara formerly worked at Radio Material Corp. in Attica for several years.
She was a life member of the Auxiliary Post of the V.F.W. 3318 of Attica.  She enjoyed working in her yard. She was an animal lover and enjoyed caring for the stray cats in her neighborhood.
On June 1, 1949, Clara married Charles F. Minnick.   Charles preceded her in death on June 29, 1994.
Clara leaves behind her daughter, Sarah "Sally" Earlywine, Attica; three grandsons, Shane (Kim) Earlywine, Veedersburg; Shad Earlywine, Attica and Brad (Christina) Earlywine, Ladoga; seven great-grandchildren, Charlie, Corabella, Trent, McKinnsey, Kendra, Hudson and Brooklyn Earlywine.  Clara was preceded in death by a son Charles "Chuck" Minnick; sisters, Catherine Elmore & Mary Jane Owens; and a brother, Paul Pycke.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Friday, August 4th, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Osborn Prairie Cemetery, near Stone Bluff.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Paws 'n Claws Animal Shelter.
