Attica - Clarissa Eileen (Gray) Holloway, 91, formerly of Attica and had been residing with her grandson, Keri in Covington, passed away at the home of her grandson, on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.
Eileen, as she was known to family and friends, was born in Independence, Indiana on July 29, 1930. She was the daughter of the late John and Mae (Jennings) Gray. She was a life resident of Attica and graduated from Pine Village High School in 1948.
Eileen worked at Indiana Bell Telephone Company for many years until her retirement. Following her retirement from Indiana Bell, she worked as a bookkeeper for Bryant's Car Dealership in Attica.
Eileen, enjoyed her family, especially the time spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. They referred to her as "Nana".
Eileen married Hoard "Hobby" T. Holloway on August 7, 1948 in Attica. Hobby preceded her in death on September 20, 2003.
Eileen leaves behind a grandson, Keri (fiancé-Dawn Cramer) Oiler, Covington; a granddaughter, Catlin Purcell, Independence; Great-Grandchildren, Matthew Oilar, Attica; Arial Oilar, Attica; McKaila Oilar, Lafayette; Kaydeejo Bush, Attica; Katie Lister, Covington; Josh and James Cramer, Terre Haute; great great-grandchildren, Carter Oiler, Attica and Goldynn Rose, Lafayette. Eileen was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Holloway and a daughter, Linda Rogers.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, February 9th, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Mark Mason officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
