Connie Jo (Poynter) Williamson was born on October 21, 1960 in Williamsport, IN to Wilmoth 'Buddy' Dale Poynter & Nellie Ruth (Heidenreich) Poynter. She was called home on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the young age of 62. She was a graduate of Attica High School in 1979, immediately following high school she started her family.

She is survived by her husband James R. Williamson, her son Cory (Audra) Kerst, her two daughters, Holly Jo (Jeff) Kerst, Cortney (Eric) Philpott, multiple bonus children, Stacey (Billy) Pattengale, Angie (Bryan) Vice, Amber (Deron) Knepp, Lisa (Scott) Sans, and Tony Alvaro.

Her sister, Tammy (Tim) Haddock, brothers Richard Poynter, Bill (Deana) Poynter, and Chris (Pam) Poynter. Multiple grandchildren who referred to her as "Granny Long Legs" or "Tall Grandma"  Oakley, Brock, Kadance, and Jace Kerst, Trinity (Bailey) and Zackery Brickler, Ava, Noah, Cole Walker, Lila and Claire Philpott. Her greatest love was her newest great-granddaughter, Adlynn Jo Brickler.

Connie enjoyed attending concerts, vacationing, road-tripping, visiting with her grandchildren & great-granddaughter, sharing stories with them about her childhood. She had no boundaries for those she loved and for those who loved her. She loved life fiercely & never turned down a moment to make memories with her loved ones. She had a gypsy soul & a hippie's mindset. She was a beautiful soul who will be missed by all who knew her.

Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Friday, September 8th, from 3:00 p.m. until service time at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor David Adams officiating.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
