Crawfordsville - Cynthiana "Cindy" Ruth Williamson, 94, of Whitlock Place in Crawfordsville, passed away at the Whitlock Place on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 8:23 p.m.
Cindy, as she was known by her family and friends, was born in Belmore, Ohio on February 15, 1929.  She was the daughter of the late Silas Purley and Marie (Myers) Williamson.  She was raised in Amanda, Ohio and graduated from Amanda High School.  She later graduated from Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky.
Cindy worked as a secretary for the OMS (One Mission Society) in Los Angeles, California and later when the company moved to Greenwood, Indiana, relocated to Greenwood, where she lived until moving to Whitlock Place.
Cindy leaves behind her sister, Bernice Reynolds, Hillsboro; a nephew, Darrin Reynolds, Hillsboro; a niece, Rhonda Moody, Columbia, MD; four great nephews, Nathan, Alex, Jason and Sam Moody.
A gravesite service for Cindy will be held in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro, on Tuesday, February 6th, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating.
