Veedersburg - Dana Elizabeth (Kramer) French, 61, Veedersburg, passed away in her home on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 3:25 p.m.
Dana was born in Lebanon, Indiana on April 18, 1964. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Kramer and was raised by the late Alton Browning and Jean (Campbell) Kramer Browning Davidson. Dana was raised and educated in Lebanon, later living in Florida and returning to Indiana to reside in Bargersville. She has lived for the past four years in Veedersburg. Dana worked in food service as a waitress in various restaurants in Lebanon and Johnson County. More recently she worked as a waitress at Crossroads Restaurant in Attica.
Dana enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was actively involved in raising and encouraging her children with their lives. All her free time was devoted to her whole family. She enjoyed watching the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs were her favorite team.
She was formerly married to George French and has been a companion and fiancée of Ronald Duff for the past 21 years.
Dana leaves behind her companion and fiancée, Ronald Duff, of Veedersburg; three sons, Brandon French, Attica; Stephen (Samantha) French, Attica and Jordan (companion-Debbie) French, Ladoga, IN; a daughter, Elizabeth Nelms, Franklin, IN; a brother, Toby (companion- Lorraine) Kramer, Lebanon, IN and a sister, Sherry (companion-Dave) Robinson, Sheridan, IN; eleven grandchildren, Tristin (Samantha) Genrich, Lebanon; Gage French, Attica; Destiny (Jacari) French, Cape Girardeau, MO; Alicque French, Attica; Hope French, Greenfield, IN; Elijah French, Attica; Parker Slinker, Attica; Dakota French, Ladoga; Elleah French, Ladoga; Arora Scott, Lafayette, IN and Isaac French, Attica; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher, Sage, Zachariah, Desmond, Arlo, Hendrix, Mavryk and a great-grandchild soon to be born. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Sammie Kramer and Craig Davidson.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, April 15th from 5:00 p.m. until the service time at 7:00 p.m. with family sharing memories. Memorial contributions may be made to Maus Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
