Clarks Hill - Darrell DeWayne Wilkinson, 53, formerly of West Lebanon and had been residing in Clarks Hill, passed away in the I.U. Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 9:17 a.m.
Darrell was born in Danville, Illinois on July 16, 1968. He was the son of the late Robert Dale and Treva Ann (Ricketts) Wilkinson. He was raised in West Lebanon and attended Seeger Memorial High School. He has resided in Clarks Hill for the last several years.
Darrell formerly worked at Harrison Steel Castings Company and more recently at Bailiff Marble, Tile and Stone Company in Lafayette until he became disabled.
Darrell enjoyed tinkering around with anything that had a engine or motor.
Darrell leaves behind a son, Levie Lameau, Kingman; two sisters, Candy (Myron) Kirkpatrick, Attica and Karlena Dixon, West Lebanon; a brother, David Wilkinson, Williamsport;his pet dog and companion, Amira;  several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Lynn Lang.
As per Darrell's request cremation services were accorded him and a memorial gathering will be held at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica on Tuesday, January 11th, from 4:00 p.m. until the memorial service time at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Jack Bowling officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the West Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paws 'n Claws Animal Shelter or to the charity of one's choice.
