Attica - David Earl Green, 49, formerly of Attica and had been residing in Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away in the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 10:11 p.m. following heart surgery.
David was born in Home Hospital, Lafayette on February 22, 1975.  He was the son of the late David Ray and Madonna (Fairchild) Green.  He was raised and educated in Attica and had been residing in Science Hill, Kentucky for the past two years.
While living in Attica, David worked at Myers Steel and for Pizza Hut.  While living in Science Hill, David worked at Menzner Flooring in Somerset.
David was baptized in the Christ Way Church in Terre Haute.  He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing and playing his guitar.
David was formerly married to Heather Ransom on September 22, 2009 in Williamsport, IN.  They later divorced.
David leaves behind two children, Nathaniel Levi (companion - Cierra Richardson) Green, West Lafayette and Paisly Green, Attica; his companion, Lisa Purcell, Science Hill, KY; a granddaughter, Myah Green, West Lafayette; three sisters, Jamie Green, Attica; Julie (Matthew) Minnick, Veedersburg; Marsha (Donald) Turner, Lebanon, IN; two brothers, Ron "Jaws" (Debbe Johnson) Ward, Attica and Jerry (Joann) Howard, Portland Arch.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Friday, August 2nd from 5:00 p.m. until the service time at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Hunter Chadwell officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray his expenses.
