Attica - David William Harris, 68, formerly of Attica and had been residing at Rosewalk Village in Lafayette, passed away in the Rosewalk Village on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 4:50 a.m.
David was born in the Home Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana on April 14, 1951. He was the son of the late John and Mary (Buckles) Harris.
David worked as manager of laundry at Home Hospital and later as grounds keeper at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
He leaves behind two sons, David (Victoria) Harris, Momence, IL; Matthew (Bella) Harris, Evansville, IL; two sisters, Yolanda Smith and Brenda Speedie; a brother, Steve Harris; six grandchildren, Raleigh, Caleb, Eli, Karter, Jenna, Olivia Harris. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Harris.
As per the request of the family, direct cremation was performed and no immediate service is planned.
