DeAnn was born in Montevideo, MN on January 3, 1945 to the late Olaf and Lilia (Armstrong) Lund. DeAnn grew up in the Montevideo, MN area. On August 2, 1969 she married R. Edward Hetrick at Buffalo Lake Lutheran Church in rural DeGraff, MN. They enjoyed 40 years of marriage before his passing in March 2010.

DeAnn deeply loved her Lord, her family, and her church and she was a friend to many. DeAnn demonstrated her love through service and generosity. This was very visible in her service at Sterling Christian Church, where she was often found serving in the kitchen for Teen Prayer Breakfast, Kit Club, Funeral dinners, or whatever else Ed volunteered her for. DeAnn also spent many years singing on the worship team and in the church choir.
DeAnn was a quiet servant, serving behind the scenes. She often gave of her time and resources striving to be a doer of the Word, not just a hearer.
DeAnn's family would like to extend a special thank you to the numerous people who helped make it possible for DeAnn to remain in her home for the last 16 months. Your time, care, and love are greatly appreciated.
DeAnn is survived by her children Abe Hetrick and Lindsay (Kevin) Wildman and her five grandchildren; Uriah, Cassandra, Zoe, Esther, and Tabitha Wildman all of Veedersburg. She is also survived by her twin sister LeAnn (Gene) Zimmerman, brother-in-law Curtis Loken, and
