Kingman - Debra "Deb" Joann (McCollum) Coonse, 61, of Kingman, passed away in the Franciscan Health Hospital, Indianapolis, on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 9:05 p.m.
Debra was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana on September 23, 1961.  She was the daughter of the late Wallace Forest and Dorothy Lucille (Morgan) McCollum.  She was raised in Hillsboro and attended Fountain Central High School.  She was a life resident of Fountain County and had just recently moved to Kingman.
Debra formerly worked as a nurses aide for Williamsburg Healthcare in Crawfordsville and did private home care.  She later worked at Steel Grip in Covington and more recently worked in the bakery department at Pay Less in Lafayette, retiring due to her health.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Hillsboro and more recently attending the Grace of God Fellowship in Kingman.  She enjoyed crocheting and taking photos of nature and the environment.
Debra leaves behind her two daughters, Amanda Crane, Lafayette and Tawnya Purple, Crawfordsville; her eight grandchildren, whom she adored, Gage, Amya, Drayven, Aiden, Blayze, Danicka, Aarien and Gavyn; her brother, Charles "Chuck" (Jena) McCollum, Veedersburg.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at the Grace of God Fellowship Church, 644 W. 1000 S., Kingman, IN on Saturday, July 22nd  from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow with Pastor Tim Lyons officiating.  A meal for family and friends will follow in the church.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to help offset funeral expenses.
