Attica - Debra "Debbie"  Lee (Shonkwiler) Larson, age 66, formerly of Attica, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, in a facility near her home in The Villages, FL, following a 20-year battle with cancer.

Debra was born on July 14, 1957.  She was the daughter of  Sandra (Sexton) Shonkwiler and the late Billie Shonkwiler of Attica.  Debbie, as most people knew her, grew up and attended school in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1975.

Debbie married Robert 'Eddy' Larson on May 31, 1975, in Attica, IN.

She worked as a travel agent for many years after her children were grown.

Debbie enjoyed cooking for friends and family, traveling, and crafts, but her biggest joy was spoiling her grandchildren and their two dogs, Tazzie and Lucy.

Debbie is survived by her husband Eddy of 48 years; children Shelia Larson, TN; Joseph (Lindsay) Larson, Attica; grandchildren Gabrielle Larson & Jayce Larson, both of Attica and Hayden Larson, Fort Wayne; mother Sandra Shonkwiler, Attica; sister Michele (Shonkwiler) Lohmeyer, Westfield; and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Billie, and sisters Doris 'Sissy' (Shonkwiler) Burton and Billie Jo Shonkwiler.

As per Debbie's wishes, cremation services were accorded her and  there will be no funeral service at this time.
