Dennis A. Harrison

Williamsport - Dennis "Denny" Arthur Harrison, 75, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 4:56 p.m.
Denny, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Danville, Illinois on January 9, 1951.  He was the son of the late Wilbur Andrew and Wilma Ray (Ransdell) Harrison.  He was raised near Johnsonville and State Line, in Warren County, and graduated from Seeger High School in 1969.  He went on to work at R & S Printing Company in Danville, for 22 years, until they closed.  During this time he helped his father farm and later worked with his best friend, Mark Wright, farming.
In his younger years he had attended the State Line Christian Church.  As a youth he enjoyed working on model cars and later constructing playground equipment and other items for his daughters.  He liked to hunt mushrooms, but his greatest love was working on the farm.  He knew no stranger and could carry on a conversation with anyone who would listen. He was well liked, polite and enjoyed visiting with his friends.
Denny leaves behind his two daughters, Jeni (Andrew) Cole, Attica; Ashley (Brent) Reynolds, Valparaiso, IN; four grandchildren, Wyatt Cole, Taylen Cole, Everly Reynolds and Vivian Reynolds; a sister, Patti Edwards, Johnsonville; a niece, Tina (Jeff) Keller, Covington; great nephews, Dakota, Zach and Kaleb.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Jay Edwards.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Thursday, July 23rd from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Cunningham officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park, Danville, IL.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren County Community Foundation c/o Fleming Woods County Park, West Lebanon.
