Attica - Diana Kay (Hilt) Reed, 70, of Attica and most recently a resident of the Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, passed away in the center on Monday, July 5, 2021at 3:07 p.m.
Diana was born on January 5, 1951in Lafayette, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Gordon Leroy and Elizabeth (Gellenbeck) Hilt.
Diana enjoyed spending time with her husband and attending church. She liked to listen to gospel music and riding through the countryside.
Diana married Ernest Reed on May 17, 1997in the Attica First United Methodist Church.
She leaves behind her husband Ernest of 24 years. She also leaves behind four sisters, Launa (Bud) Burnell, Lafayette; Pat Richards, Lafayette; Anita (Joe) Bosworth, Florida and Caroline (Bill) Ping, Lafayette; a brother, Don (Brenda) Hilt, Florida; a step sister, Linda Coppock, Mulberry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Elizabeth Hilt; her step mother, Helen Hilt; two brothers, Johnny Hilt and Gene Hilt; a step brother, Jack Kelsey and a step sister, Denise Kelsey.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Sunday, July 11th, from 12":00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Rick Deardorff officiating. Burial will follow in the Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, Indiana.
