Pine Village - Doris Irene (Shoaf) McFatridge Terry, 96, Pine Village, passed away in the St. Mary Healthcare Center, Lafayette on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 3:06 a.m.
Doris was born in Adams Township of Warren County, Indiana on August 24, 1928.  She was the daughter of the late Eugene R. and Constance Irene (Talbert) Shoaf.  Doris was a life resident of the Pine Village community, graduating from Pine Village High School in 1946.  She went on to graduate from Wedekind Beauty College in 1947.
Doris first married Robert C. McFatridge on August 24, 1947 in Warren Township in Warren County, IN.  Robert preceded her in death on September 13, 1962.  She later married Raymond Melvin Terry in 1987 in Pine Village, IN. Raymond preceded her in death on December 13, 2004.
Following the passing of her first husband, Robert, Doris became a fabric buyer for Neuwelts Fabrics in Lafayette for 15 years.
Doris was a member of the Pine Village Bible Church.  She assisted with the "Kids Club" at the church.  She worked in the Pine Village Food Pantry.  She enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
Doris leaves behind three children, Dan (Marilyn) McFatridge, Pine Village; Dave (Eleanor) McFatridge, LaPorte, IN and Robin (Frankie) Lucas, Pine Village; a step son, David (Suzanne) Terry, Frankfort, IN; ten grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Krol, Rob (Kristie) McFatridge, Chastity (Aaron) French, Kristie  Deckard, Kelly (J.T.) Yadon, Carrie (Josh) Johnson, Adam (Lesley) McFatridge, Kyle (Jessie) McFatridge, Ashley (Dave) LaBirge and Kayla (Corey) Myers; six step grandchildren, Lincoln Laird, Michael Terry, Linsey Laird, Paige Terry, Payne Terry and Phoebe Terry; 26 great-grandchildren, Eli & Aiden French; Shelby (Cal) Stover & Rhylee Garcia Johnson; Allie & Kelsey Johnson; Carson & Kolbie Myers; Taylor (Aaron) Villicana; Kamden & Kaysen Henriott; Brooklyn & Samantha Deckard; Colin & Emma LaBirge; Ava & Katelyn McFatridge; Kylie & Logan McFatridge; Clay (Kasey), Cale, Kinlyn & McKenna Yadon; Phillip, Eleanor & Lark McFatridge; and seven step great-grandchildren; a great great-grandson, Kyler Brooks Yadon;  a brother, Paul (Libby) Shoaf, Pine Village and a sister, Carol Lemming, Otterbein. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Annabel Selleck and Maxine Shoaf along with a brother, Max Shoaf and three step children, Sonna Terry, Vicky Shultz and Mike Terry.

Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Friday, October 25th, from 11;00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Link officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mound Cemetery, south of Pine Village.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pine Village Bible Church.
