Williamsport - Elizabeth Anne "Annie" (Wilson) Morgan, 90, of Williamsport, passed away in Autumn Trace Senior Living, Attica, on Monday, April 6. 2026 at 8:52 a.m. with her family by her side.
Annie, as she was known to family and friends, was born at home in Attica, Indiana on March 23, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Francis Wilson and Ruby May (Lee) Wilson Cripe.  Annie was raised in Attica and graduated from Attica High School in 1954.  She later lived in rural Williamsport for most of her adult life.
Annie formerly worked as an telephone operator for Indiana Bell in Attica.  She later worked as a waitress for various restaurants in the Attica-Williamsport area.  Many people remember her from owning and operating the Carbondale Tavern in rural Williamsport.
In her early years, Annie enjoyed bowling and bowled on a women's league at Shawnee Lanes for years.  She enjoyed cooking and baking and loved to feed her family and families friends.  Always baking and cooking from scratch and nobody went hungry. She enjoyed raising flowers and she loved her stuffed animals.
On March 24, 1956, Annie married David S. Morgan in the Attica First United Methodist Church.  David preceded her in death on August 27, 2025.
Annie leaves behind three children, Wayne "Butch" Morgan,  James J. (Polly) Morgan and Cheryl Morgan, all of Attica; three grandchildren, Jason Morgan, Carmen (Gage) Puckett and Jessica (John) Sterling ; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Kay Whistler, Attica.   Annie was preceded in death by twin grandchildren, Tavis & Brynn Morgan; a sister Lois Pruitt and two brothers, Robert and William Wilson.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Friday, April 10th from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Josh Barnett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren County Community Foundation.
