Williamsport - Ella Kathleen (Bennett) Walters, 84, of Williamsport, died at her residence at 9:22 am on Monday, January 16, 2023.
Ella was born in Terre Haute on November 27, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Gerald and Edith M. (Tallman) Bennett. She grew up in Terre Haute attending the Rankin & Garfield Schools. She had moved to the Williamsport area in 1964.
Ella married Pearl Richard Walters on February 18, 1954 in Brazil. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2018.
Ella worked as a housekeeper for Country Care Nursing Center in Williamsport for 21 years. She had also previously worked for Radio Materials Corp in Attica. She had been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post #3318 of Attica.
Survivors include three sons, John (Paula) Walters, Terre Haute, Timothy (Lois) Walters, Otterbein and Ronald Walters, Williamsport; nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald LeRoy Bennett.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 19, at 10:00 a.m. at the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
