Attica - Emma Marie Larson, 81, Attica, passed away in the Ascension St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital, on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 7:06 p.m.
Marie, as she was known to family and friends, was born at home in Davis Township, in Fountain County, Indiana on July 29, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Emmabelle (Bowman) Dickson. She was raised in Davis Township and graduated from Attica High School in 1958. She had lived most of her life in Davis Township and more recently moved to Attica seven years ago.
Marie formerly worked at Radio Material Corp. and later for Hoffa Appliance Store in Attica.
Marie married Robert L. Larson on April 16, 1951 at the home of her parents in Davis Township.
Marie leaves behind her husband of 61 years along with four children, Teresa Larson, Attica; Charles Larson, Montrose, CO; Chris Larson, Attica and Jeff (fiancée-Kim Allison) Larson, Attica; a sister, Elizabeth (Mike)Stacey, Oxford; four grandchildren, Jarid (Abby) Larson, Jarica (Kayle) Hutson, Lindsay Larson and Adam(fiancée-Lauren) Larson; three great-grandchildren, Knox, Emi and Ella.
As per Marie's request, cremation services will be accorded her and inurnment will be held in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica, at a later date.
