Attica - Eva Jo (Edwards) Duncan Wilderman, 94, formerly of Attica and had been residing in Elkhart, Indiana, passed away in the Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart, Indiana on Monday, May 18, 2020 at 7:02 a.m.
Eva was born in Quitman, Arkansas on February 20, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Joseph and Henrietta (Price) Edwards. She was raised and educated in Quitman, Arkansas and later moved to Williamsport and later Rob Roy. For the past eight years she has resided in Elkhart.
Eva formerly worked as a cook at Petro's Truck Stop in West Lebanon and later as a maid for the Attica Hotel. She operated a day care center in her home in Williamsport for several years, before her moved to Rob Roy.
She enjoyed sewing and working with crafts. She was an excellent cook.
She was first married to Royce Duncan in Sidon, Arkansas. She later married Jesse Duncan and they divorced. On October 13, 1987, Eva married Rolland Wilderman in Attica.
She leaves behind her husband Rolland of 33 years. Two sons, William (Jo Anne) Duncan, Elkhart and Roger Duncan, Rock Hill, SC; two daughters, Kathy Jenkins, Rock Hill, SC and Janette Howard, Winfield, TN; a brother, Ray Edwards, California and a sister, Norene, California; thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Duncan.
Public visitation will be held in the Maus Funeral Home, Attica on Saturday, June 6th, from 12:00 p.m. until the private family service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
