Lafayette - Haley Jean (Rice) Robertson, 34, Lafayette, passed away at her home, with her family by her side, on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:20 a.m.
Haley was born in Danville, Illinois on September 30, 1990.  She was the daughter of the late Yvonne Michelle Rice.  Haley grew up in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 2009.  She attended Ivy Tech in Lafayette.  Haley later moved to Lafayette.
Haley was a stay-at-home mother.  She enjoyed listening to her daughter, Emerson, play the trumpet.  She followed her boys, Oliver & Liam,  as they played soccer.  She enjoyed PC gaming and attending Warped Tour Concerts.  She loved her family and enjoyed the time spent with family cookouts and get-togethers.
On June 24, 2022, Haley married Taylor Bending in Lafayette.
She leaves behind her wife, Taylor along with three children, Emerson Robertson, Oliver Robertson and Liam Robertson, all of Lafayette; the father of their children, Graham Robertson, Monticello; her aunts, Lisa (Darrel) Scarlett, Tennessee and Leslie (Quentin) Prather, Lafayette; her grandmother, Paula Rice, West Lebanon.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Yvonne Rice, three grandfathers and two grandmothers.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Wea Rec Center, 2004 Wea School Road,  Lafayette on Saturday, May 17th, from 2:00 p.m. until Haley's Celebration of Life at 4:00 p.m. with Susie Bending speaking.
