Harley Martin, age 45, passed away leaving behind a legacy of laughter, creativity, and fierce devotion to those he loved. A true original, Harley lived life with a coffee in hand, a game controller nearby, and a tent always ready for the next adventure under the stars.
A gifted artist, soulful musician, and avid reader, Harley saw the world through a lens of curiosity and wonder. His work—whether in drawing, in melody, or in conversation—reflected a mind that thrived on the unconventional and the profound. He was proud of what he created, but even prouder of the family he nurtured.
Harley is survived by his children Andrew Martin, Damien (Karizma) Martin, and Zoe (Jarad) Martin, who carry forward his wit, wisdom, and warmth. Rachel Martin, with whom he shared many chapters of life, remains part of his story. He also leaves behind the lady he loved, Nicole Piegza, and her daughter Ava Piegza-Porat, who held a special place in his heart.
He is also survived by his parents Dan and Teresa, his brother Jesse (Buffy), and his sisters Mareesa, Breanna (Alex), Ambrea, Jennifer (Ben), Sammy (Mark), and Jennifer—each of whom knew Harley as a source of mischief, truth, and unwavering loyalty; his grandmother, Brenda Martin and several nieces and nephews who will miss him along with his grandfather, Clifford Martin who has since preceded him in death.
Harley's impish grin and knack for finding humor in the everyday made him a beacon of joy. He had a strong work ethic, a deep love for the weird and wonderful, and a rare ability to make people feel truly seen. Whether around a campfire or in a quiet moment, Harley's presence was magnetic.
As he always said, "Everybody loves Harley." And we do.
His spirit lives on in the stories we tell, the art we cherish, and the laughter that echoes in his memory.
