Portland Arch - Ineta JoAnn (Holliman) Howard, 64, Portland Arch, passed away in her home on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 9:30 p.m. following her failing health with cancer.
JoAnn, as she was known to family and friends, was born in Williamsport, Indiana on October 15, 1960. She was the daughter of the late J.D. and Barbara Sue (Crowder) Holliman. JoAnn was raised in Williamsport and attended Williamsport and Seeger Schools. She has resided in Portland Arch since 2001.
JoAnn formerly worked at Radio Material Corp. and Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica. More recently she worked in the IGA Deli in Attica and the Food Basket in Veedersburg.
JoAnn enjoyed raising a flower and vegetable garden. She was a collector of ceramic roosters and chickens in her home. JoAnn liked to work puzzles and play games on line. She was a great cook and baker. She loved to sing with her family and most importantly she enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren.
On July 20, 2002, JoAnn married Jerald "Jerry" L. Howard at home in Portland Arch by Pastor Gary Minard.
JoAnn leaves behind her husband, Jerry Howard of 22 years along with a daughter, Jessica (Aaron) Mitchell, Portland Arch; five siblings, Walter (Michelle) Holliman, Quitman, AR; Brenda (Douglas) Weidenburner, Lafayette; Jeff (Holly Kerst) Holliman, Williamsport, Greg Holliman, Williamsport and Sherry (Randy) Regnier, Kingman; ten grandchildren, Isaac Donovan, Mason Larkin, Elizabeth Rohder, A.J. Mitchell, Erika Dodd, Austin Dodd, Collin Dodd, Olivia Dodd, Eliza Dodd and Brayden Mitchell; two great-grandchildren, Ailyana Mitchell and Amari Mitchell; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Marketa Holliman; a brother, Tim Holliman and twin infant brothers at birth.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, October 23rd from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
