Pine Village - Jack Eston Wilson, 77, of rural Pine Village, died at 7:55 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the IU-Arnett Hospital, Lafayette.
Jack was born on December 10, 1947 in Pine Village.  He was the son of the late Ira E. And Alice E. (Hathaway) Wilson.  He grew up in Warren County and graduated from Williamsport High School in 1966.  He had lived in Independence, Williamsport and Attica before moving back to Pine Village in 1985.
Jack worked as a self employed truck driver, retiring in 2000.  He then worked for the Northern Indiana RV Company, delivering campers all over the US.  He loved his dog, Jake, and took him with him on trips and boating.  Recently he had been a bus driver for the Benton County Community School Corp where he had created lasting friendships with the other drivers and staff.
Jack was proud to be of the Baptist faith.  He was an avid fisherman and boater.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, driving a trike in recent years.  He was an IndyCar fan, devoted to the Indy 500 as well as traveling to other races.
Jack married Diana G. Herrick in 1966 in Covington.  She survives along with their sons, Mikal Wilson, Pine Village and Douglas Wilson, Perth, Western Australia; brothers, Ira Lee Wilson, Williamsport and Rex D. (Rhonda) Wilson, Attica; grandchildren, Rollins, Miranda, Dane, Eli and Lola; great-grandson, Jacob; and several nieces and nephews.  He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Deloris Jean Miles, Alice June Van Dame Odle and J. Diane Campbell.
Visitation will be held at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Thursday, March 20, from 4:00 pm until the memorial service time of 6:00 pm with Pastor Clint Fink officiating.  Contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
