Attica - James "Jimmy" Curtis Anderson, 78, Attica, passed away in the St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 6:43 a.m.
Jim was born at home in Attica, Indiana on August 25, 1946.  He was the son of the late Paul and Margery (Beavers) Anderson.  Jim was a life resident of Attica graduating from Attica High School in 1964.
Jim began working in 1967 as a draftsman for Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica.  He remained with Harrison Steel holding several different positions until his retirement.
Jim was a member of the Eagles Lodge # 2596 and Moose Lodge # 1482 both of Attica.  He enjoyed the outdoors where he liked to fish, camp and play golf.  He was noted for singing with family around the campfires.
Jim was first married to Sherry Tillotson.  They later divorced.  Jim married Susan "Sue" Cole on December 15, 1990 in Attica.
Jim leaves behind his wife, Sue of nearly 35 years along with three children, Aaron Joseph "A.J." (Andrea) Anderson, Noblesville; Melissa Wesley, Otterbein and J.D. Green, West Lebanon; two brothers, Paul Michael (Joy) Anderson, Attica and Danny (Jenny) Anderson, Marshall, IN; nine grandchildren, Kendyl (fiancée-Kassadie McKinney) Wesley; Evan (fiancée-Courtney Brinkman)Wesley; Brandy (Zach) Lindley; Janna (Matt) Herndon; Joseph Stephen Anderson; Michael Damon Green; Bradley (Nicole) Green; Sadie Kennedy and Katie (Brandon Watson) Burris; five great-grandchildren, Harper, Tucker, Krick, Jaxon and Hoyt.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Sue Cross and Janice LaFoe.
As per Jim's request, cremation services were accorded him and there will be no public service held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Community Foundation/Ralph Tillotson Scholarship Fund.
