Attica - Janice Kay (Haas) Ferguson, 81, of Attica died at her residence at 7:45 pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Janice was born on September 13, 1943 in Williamsport.  She was the daughter of the late Alva L. and Mary F. (Slinker) Haas.  She had attended school in Attica.  She had lived most of her life in Williamsport before moving back to Attica 20 years ago.  She loved to play Bingo and work crossword puzzles.  She also enjoyed feeding and watching wildlife in her yard.
Janice married Rondal Leon Ferguson on December 7, 1963 in Attica.  He preceded her in death on May 1, 1999.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda (Brian) Cooper and Sandra Baldock, both of Williamsport, and Peggy (Robert) Warrick, Attica; a sister, Maxine Warrick; a brother, Raymond Haas; seven grandchildren, Julia Cole, Richard Baldock, Spencer Baldock, Aaron (Ashley) Cooper, Jacob Warrick, Andrew Warrick & Morgan Warrick; and four great-grandchildren, Liam Cole, Briegan Cole, Owen Cole & Emerson Cole.  She was preceded in death by two sisters, Carrie Ferguson & Mary Lou Hulsey, and five brothers, Frank Haas, Alva Haas, Everett Haas, Clint Haas & Joe Haas.
Visitation will be held at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, July 23, from 11:30 a.m. until the service time of 12:30 p.m.  Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
