Portland Arch - Jason L. Clevenger, 40, Portland Arch, passed away in the Union Hospital, Terre Haute on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 9:47 a.m.
Jason was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 19, 1981. He was the son of Rick L. and Teresa G. (Taylor) Clevenger of Portland Arch. He was a
life resident of Portland Arch, graduating from Attica High School in 1999.
Jason was presently working at the north plant of Tate & Lyle in Lafayette.
Jason was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed archery and assisted in the archery program at Attica High School. He also enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his girls.
Jason married Amber N. Rex in the Portland Arch Christian Church on June 26, 2004. Together they have been married for 17 years.
Besides his wife, Amber and parents, Rick and Teresa he leaves behind two daughters at home, Taylor, age 16 and Kendyl, age 14; two sisters, Chastity Clevenger, Wisconsin and Wendy Clevenger, Portland Arch; two brothers, Jeremie Clevenger, Tony, AL and Justin Clevenger, Portland Arch; his paternal grandmother, Mildred Clevenger; his father and mother-in-law, William & Debra Rex, Portland Arch; his isters-in-law, Joan (Troy) Davis, Portland Arch; Betty Jo Phillips, Frankfort; his brother-in-law, Mike (Sherry) Hanover, Crawfordsville.  He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held in the Sterling Christian Church, 701 S. Sterling Avenue, Veedersburg on Saturday, January 15th, from 2:00 - 5:30 p.m.  A celebration of Jason's life will begin at 5:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jason Clevenger family.
