Attica - Jeffery "Jeff" Ray Wesley, 61, Attica, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in the Hamilton Trace Rehabilitation Center, Fishers, IN.
Jeff was born in the Home Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana on August 19, 1961. He was the son of Dallas R. Wesley of Attica and the late Marie Catherine (Phelps) Wesley. Jeff was raised in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1981. He played on the varsity tennis team for Attica.
Following graduation Jeff worked for several years for the Indiana Highway Department and later the Fountain County Highway Department until his disability caused him to retire from work.
Jeff was a member of the Attica Free Methodist Church. He was a sports fan and enjoyed NASCAR with Jeff Gordon as his favorite driver. He was an avid follower of Indiana University basketball and Chicago Cubs baseball. Jeff was a very outgoing individual and would enjoy conversations with anyone who would listen.
Jeff leaves his father, Dallas R. Wesley, Attica; his three siblings, Valarie (Robert) Maus, Attica; Gregory (Margoth) Wesley, Attica and Vicki (Frank) Adams, Lafayette; his two nephews, Nathan Maus and Kevin Wesley; his two nieces, Amy Maus and Kyla Adams; a great-nephew, Wyatt Maus. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Wesley on December 28, 2017.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Tuesday, November 15th from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Free Methodist Church.
