West Lebanon - Castilla Joanne (White) Jumps, 89, West Lebanon, passed away in her home, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 5:42 p.m.

      Joanne, as she was known to family and friends, was born in Catlin, Illinois on May 15, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Nina Gladys (Yonts) White. Joanne was raised in Catlin, graduating from Catlin High School.

      On June 16, 1964, Joanne married Ralph Eldon Jumps in the First Baptist Church in Covington. After her marriage she lived in Covington for 26 years until moving to North Ft. Myers, Florida. for 26 years until moving to West Lebanon in 2017.

 Joanne attended the First Church of Christ in Covington and New Hope Christian Church.in North Fort Myers. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, flower arranging , flowers and her pets..

      Joanne was preceded by her husband, Ralph on July 19, 2023. She leaves behind her daughter, Melody (Milton) Kelson, West Lebanon; her brother, Maurice (Pat) White, Fithian, IL; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Josh) Livingston, South Carolina and Jill (Matt Smoot) Wilson, West Lebanon; six great-grandchildren, Chastian (Shane ) Nelson, Chance ( Lidia ) Howard, Kaden (Kayla Voigt) Wilson, Cole Livingston, Peyton Wilson and Cooper Livingston; four great great-grandchildren, Mila and Elaina Nelson, Sutton and Boone Howard, nieces and nephews, Joanne’s two close friends Donna Moudy and Patsy Reynolds.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Roy L. White.

      As per Joanne’s request, cremation services were accorded her and a private family burial will be held in the Oakridge Cemetery at Catlin, IL at a later date.
