Jodi Lynn (Pierce) Ping, 53 of Attica, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Attica on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 10:32 a.m.  She had been battling cancer for the past two years.
Jodi was born in Home Hospital, Lafayette on May 8, 1972.  She was the daughter of Valerie J. (Askren) Pierce Gray of Pine Village and the late Dannie Marvin Pierce.  Jodi was a life long resident of Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1990.
Jodi was previously employed with Nanshan American, an aluminum extrusion company in Lafayette for the past several years, taking time off to be with the grandchildren.
Jodi was loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family and she loved to spoil the grandchildren.
On January 17, 2003, Jodi married Kevin L. Ping in Attica.  She leaves behind her husband, Kevin of 22 years along with two daughters, Jaylynn Borden, Pine Village and Kenlie (Conner) Johnson, Attica; four grandchildren, Sylas McPeters, Nova Green, Calvin Johnson and Statyn Green; her mother, Valerie J. Gray, Pine Village; a brother, Matt (Laurie) Pierce, Attica.  She was preceded in death by her father, Dannie Pierce and her step father, David Gray.
A private family gravesite service will be held in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica with Daniel Askren speaking.
