West Lebanon - Joyce Faye (Curtis) McDougal, 84, West Lebanon, passed away in the Williamsport Health & Rehabilitation Center, on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:13 a.m.
Joyce was born in Guys, Tennessee on July 12, 1937. She was the daughter of the late William Ulus land Leota (Smith) Curtis. Joyce was raised in Tennessee and Missouri and has been a resident of West Lebanon for the past 57 years.
Joyce formerly worked at General Electric in Danville for 24 years until its closing.
Joyce had been attending the Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed her volunteer time at "His Mission" in Williamsport. She enjoyed tending to her garden and raising flowers. She enjoyed the time visiting with her family and friends .
She married Franklin D. McDougal on July 29, 1957 in Corinth, MS. Franklin preceded her in death.
She leaves behind three children, Jerry (Mona) McDougal, Attica; David (Mary) McDougal, Williamsport and Patty Gullion, La Mesa, CA; a brother, Billy Curtis, Aurora, IL; four sisters, Mabel Pipkin, New Madrid, MO; Betty Elsperman, New Madrid, MO; Jo Laws, Newtown and Wanda (Donald Carmack, Granite City, IL; seven grandchildren, Michael (Bonnie) Holtkamp and Kyle (Windy) Holtkamp; Alan (Justina)McDougal; Tami (Garen ) Carnes; Shelby Gullion; Samantha (Ethan) Stump and Wesley Gullion; eight great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Harrison, Tess, Andrew, Arin, Keaton, Zoey and Caroline; a very dear friend, John Goodrick, West Lebanon.  Joyce was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Junior Curtis; a sister, Eva McDougal and an infant child.
As per Joyce's request cremation services will be accorded her and a private service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to "His Mission" located in Williamsport.
