Williamsport - Judith "Judy" Ann (Banta) Fink, 76, Williamsport, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. in the Williamsport Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Judy was born in Knox, Indiana on August 7, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Thelma (Fisher) Banta. Judy was raised in Knox, Indiana, graduating from Knox High School in 1964. She has resided in Warren County since 1974.
Judy was a homemaker and worked in food services in the local area. She loved children and was a care giver for local children in the area.
Judy was an active member of the Hickman Heights Christian Church and the Ladies Aide of the Church. She was a member of the Liberty Township Homemakers. In her early years she was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. She enjoyed reading, but her passion was the time spent with her family and the activities in the church. She enjoyed visiting and dining out with friends. She also enjoyed dancing.
On June 1, 1973 Judy married Larry "Hoss" D. Fink in the Pine Village Christian Church.
She leaves behind her husband, Hoss of nearly 50 years along with three children, John Fink, Hoopeston, IL; Jason (Jami Knox) Fink, Lafayette and Lori (Neal) Austin, Williamsport; a sister, Carol (Bill) Cecrle, Georgetown, TX and a brother, Ralph (Adair) Banta, Plymouth, IN; a sister-in-law, Renate Banta, Knox, IN; six grandchildren, Danielle Jackson, Kendra Fink, Abney (Max) Brown, Jared Fink, Taylor Austin and Bryce Austin; several step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Hayden, Colten and Mason. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Banta and two sisters, Mary Brantley and Dorothy Burroughs.
A memorial gathering will be held in the Hickman Heights Christian Church, 3291 N. 100 E. Williamsport on Saturday, February 11th, from 11:00 a.m. until the memorial service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ian Costandi officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Rainsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hickman Height Christian Church "Back Pack Program" or the Rainsville Cemetery Association.
