Judith Kaniewski passed away in November of 2024. Judi was a Christmas baby, born December 25, 1956, to John and LaDonna O'Mara. She married David Kaniewski on July 28, 1984. Her parents and David preceded her in death.

Judi was a beloved art teacher in the schools of Warren County for 40 years. Her name is on the Wall of Fame in the MSD office in Williamsport. She loved her students, which was obvious when big smiles accompanied a chance greeting.

Judi and David loved fishing together and enjoyed sharing their catches with fish fries for their church congregation. They enjoyed their motor home, which took them to a variety of places, often centered on fishing. Judi's many other interests included traveling, camping, antiques, reading, crafts, and scrapbooking.

After David's passing, Judi became involved in other projects, as well. This evolved into (quiet and behind-the-scenes) assistance for various community needs. She was an avid sales shopper and generously touched lives by filling many gift boxes for her church's ministry for disadvantaged youth in Flint MI, providing surprise donations at A Better Way Food Co-op of Warren County, and supporting other local needs. Judi also served as a Deacon at Trinity Presbyterian Church and participated in many other church activities, including the sewing project for orphans in Ghana and Haiti and the sidewalk craft and snack distributions for youth during Covid.

A memorial service for family and friends to celebrate Judi's life will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church in West Lebanon on Wednesday, March 26, at 4:00 pm. All are invited to stay after the service for refreshments, visiting and sharing memories of Judi.
