Williamsport - Julie Ann (Weaver) McMurtrie, 65, formerly of Attica and had been residing in Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 12:56 a.m.
Julie was born in Danville, Illinois on May 20, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Howard Dwayne and Jacqulyn (Hall) Weaver. Julie was raised and educated in Attica. She later lived in Lafayette before recently moving to Williamsport.
Julie worked at Koehler Brothers Nursery and Landscaping in Lafayette and later for Bryant's Chevrolet-Buick Car Dealership in Attica.
Julie enjoyed painting and crafting. She was always talking about her family and her grandchildren.
Julie leaves behind her sons, Jason Martin, Katy, TX; Jeremy Martin, Indianapolis and Joel (Jennifer) McMurtrie, Williamsport; a sister, Cindy (Kent) Cederburg, Axtell, NE; six grandchildren, McKensie Martin, Corbin McMurtrie, Peyton Martin, Madison Martin, Michael McMurtrie and Morgan Martin; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Paxtyn Collison; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Kelli Weaver.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Tuesday, September 13th, from 12:00 p.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Rasner officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
